Kapiti College seeks a motivated and skilled Drama teacher to join our fantastic team. We are seeking an individual who can confidently teach Drama from Year 9 to Year 13, with experience in delivering NCEA Drama.
The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of the NCEA assessment requirements and a proven track record of helping students succeed in both performance and theory assessments. They will inspire creativity, support learners of all abilities, and build confidence in students as they express themselves through the arts.
Our facilities are second to none, with Te Raukura, a 300-seat theatre featuring seven teaching spaces, offering opportunities not available in most other schools. This unique environment allows staff and students to collaborate, create, and perform at the highest level.

Kapiti College is seeking a dynamic Outdoor Education Teacher to join our team. Located on the stunning Kapiti Coast, our college is vibrant and high-performing, guided by our Parihaka Mai Ai values, which promote respect, equality, resilience, and unity. Our Outdoor Education programme has become highly popular, with strong student engagement from Year 9 to Year 13. We are looking for an inspiring teacher to help our students connect with Te Taiao and develop adventure-based learning (ABL) activities such as tramping, kayaking, climbing, and survival skills. Outdoor-specific qualifications would be advantageous but are not essential.
For the right candidate, leadership opportunities will be available within this growing curriculum area, paving the way for middle management units or allowances.
