Kapiti College seeks a motivated and skilled PE/Health teacher to join our fantastic team for Term 1, 2026. This is a full-time permanent position. We are looking for an individual who can confidently teach PE/Health across Y9 to Y13.

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of the NCEA assessment requirements (please share your specialism and experience in this area) and a proven ability to support students’ learning and wellbeing. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of the New Zealand Curriculum (especially Levels 4–5), a commitment to teaching the basics brilliantly through structured literacy, the explicit teaching of numeracy, and evidence-based practice, and a proven ability to develop students’ academic progress, wellbeing and hauora. They will bring energy, purpose and expertise to the classroom, helping students master foundational knowledge and skills while developing critical thinking, self-management, and the confidence to make positive life choices.
