Provide in-class support for international students with diverse learning, language and cultural needs
Assist with English-language development, literacy, numeracy and organisation skills
Work closely with teachers and pastoral staff to create an inclusive, positive environment

Kapiti College seeks a motivated and skilled PE/Health teacher to join our fantastic team for Term 1, 2026. This is a full-time permanent position. We are looking for an individual who can confidently teach PE/Health across Y9 to Y13.
The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of the NCEA assessment requirements (please share your specialism and experience in this area) and a proven ability to support students’ learning and wellbeing. They will bring energy and expertise to the classroom, helping students build knowledge, resilience, and confidence in making positive life choices through clear, structured teaching and high expectations.

Kapiti College seeks a motivated and skilled teacher to join our fantastic junior school team for Term 1, 2026. This is a full-time permanent position. We are looking for an individual who can confidently teach Year 9/10 classes in Health, Social Science, Literacy and Numeracy.
The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of the New Zealand Curriculum (especially Levels 4–5), a commitment to teaching the basics brilliantly through structured literacy, the explicit teaching of numeracy, and evidence-based practice, and a proven ability to develop students’ academic progress, wellbeing and hauora. They will bring energy, purpose and expertise to the classroom, helping students master foundational knowledge and skills while developing critical thinking, self-management, and the confidence to make positive life choices.
