Kāpiti College Teacher Aide
International Department
Part time fixed term position. Term time only. Seven hours per week (times/days negotiated with the Director of International Education) Start date Monday 29 April 2024
Our co - educational secondary school has all the advantages of a large school,(1530 students, including 60 international students) yet offers the warmth, encouragement and family feel of a smaller school, where all are accepted and respected. The Role
Reporting to the Director of International Education, your role is to provide facilitation for the learning of the students in your care, providing help with interpretation and for monitoring their progress. Our focus is to enable students with English as a second language to integrate and be independent, making their experience in New Zealand and our education system a beneficial and valued experience. Being fluent in Thai is essential in this role, as it involves primarily working with Thai students.
