Study Club

Our primary purpose is to provide for the needs of the International students. This is the reason why we have introduced so many special programmes, and why our roll continues to grow.

• Some international students have limited involvement in after-school activities, and are not sure what to do with their time.
• Some students find it hard to reach the standards required for credits in the NCEA.
• A few students with very high academic aspirations, seeking entry to restrictive University courses, ask for enriched learning opportunities.

To meet these diverse needs, we have launched a STUDY CLUB. This is for after school from 4.00 to 6.00 pm, on every school day. Numbers are small, and there is intensive teaching in English and Maths, following afternoon tea!

The fee is minimal –only $10.00 per hour – which is sufficient to cover the basic costs.
