Study Club

The International Department's primary purpose is to provide for the needs of international students. This is why we have introduced so many special programmes, and why our roll continues to grow.
Our Study Club provides a weekly opportunity for students to get help with assessments or get individual tuition in a small and supportive environment. There are many reasons that our students might come along.

• Some international students have limited involvement in after-school activities, and are not sure what to do with their time.

• Some students find it hard to reach the standards required for credits in the NCEA.

• A few students with very high academic aspirations, seeking entry to restrictive University courses, ask for enriched learning opportunities.

STUDY CLUB runs from 4.00 to 6.00 pm  on school days.  It is a small group that provides intensive teaching in English and Maths. There's also afternoon tea!

The fee is minimal –only $10.00 per hour – to cover costs.
